I am an Associate Professor of Computer and Information Sciences at Virginia Military Institute. I earned my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Utah State University.
Dr. Lasisi holds the IEEE Senior Membership grade. Only 7% of IEEE's approximately 431,000 members worldwide hold this grade, which requires extensive experience, and reflects professional maturity and documented achievements of significance. He is also a member of SIAM.
Research Interests
My research interests include:
• Issues at the intersection of computer science (artificial intelligence, multiagent systems, and algorithms) and economics (game theory and mechanism design). These include negotiation and decision-making in multiagent systems involving voting theory, social choice domain, and cooperative game theory.
• Data Mining, Data Science, and Data Analysis.
• Bioinformatics and computational biology, including RNA secondary structures predictions.
